Meet the Team
After receiving a PHD in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey, Jon worked for eight years as a Senior Bridge Engineer and Project Manager with Jacobs Engineering Group, a multi-national engineering company. In 2010, Jon moved to Paris where he ran an online travel guide for ‘anglophones’ called 'Guide2Paris'. As well as running the company, Jon published articles about Paris whilst selling advertising to hotels and restaurants on Guide2Paris. Jon’s expertise in social media marketing helped promote hotels and restaurants on Guide2Paris. For the past fourteen years, Jon has been renovating properties in France and the UK, and now runs a successful property development business in Bristol. A football fan, and 5-a-side player, Jon also hosts several Meetup groups, including one exclusively for property investors and developers.
Geoff came to the UK from Dublin to study photography. He spent fifteen years working as a professional photographer from his studio in in London, and had work regularly published in Marie Claire, Maxim, Cosmopolitan and several other glossy women’s magazines and Sunday supplements. Geoff moved to the west country where he studied to be a professional counsellor and worked in the field of addiction for ten years. He now runs a property company with Jon in Bristol. Geoff is a fan of cooking, cross country running and making music.
Geoff recently qualified as a commercial drone pilot by obtaining his PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operations) from the Civil Aviation Authority.
